I realized I wanted to be a designer while I was a member of the yearbook staff in high school. Only juniors and seniors were allowed, but I persuaded the teacher to let me join as a sophomore. For three years I worked as a staff member and realized I loved conceptualizing ideas and seeing them come to fruition. I was hooked.
My background includes extensive experience in both the print and digital realms, and I recently jumped headfirst into the world of video editing and animation because I love learning. Other interests include getting my hands dirty in the garden, video games, decorating cookies, and most recently, sewing—I even made my own Carol Burnette "Went with the Wind" costume for halloween. Currently I'm looking for employment—remote would be ideal. My true passion lies with working for a company that is committed to making positive change in our world. I am open to a lot of different design scenarios for employment, as my extensive experience has granted me a wealth of knowledge in many areas of design.
