I realized I wanted to be a designer while I was a member of my high school yearbook staff. For three years I worked as a staff member and realized I loved seeing my ideas come to fruition. I was hooked and have been slinging text and images together ever since.
My background includes extensive experience in print and digital for mission-based organizations, education and curricula companies, book publishers, media groups, and the spa and wellness industry. Most recently I freelanced for a Silicon Valley tech company where I designed yearbook themes and prepared them in their online yearbook app for use by schools all over the country (and coming soon to Australia). I've also branded an international non-profit, and dipped my toe into the political realm by designing digital ads for a progressive political campaign in Florida.
I obsess over the care of my ever-growing plant collection (happy plant lady here!), winter/snow, playing video games, and decorating cookies for fun (cookiesbybrookies).
I love people and businesses that try to do good in the world. My extensive experience has granted me a wealth of knowledge in many areas of design, so I am open to many different scenarios. If you are interested in saying hello, please reach out!
